Located right on Seal Beach Main St. Beachwood Barbeque is a neighborhood gem. The menu has everything from pulled pork and buffalo sloppy joes to perfectly crispy sweet potato fries, bleu cheese grits and sauteed collard greens. All of the entrees also come with a piece of skillet baked cornbread. I opted for the blueberry wild boar meatloaf special, which was quite tasty and bold in flavor. The sweet potato fries were some of the best that I ever had. I didn’t particularly care for the collard greens, but the bite of Romain’s buffalo sloppy joe was amazing. I like the fact that they have a variety of sauces on the table so you can choose to flavor your pulled pork or other meat as you please. The waitress was really friendly and really helpful with selecting beer. I’m not a huge beer drinker, but they had such a large selection, I’m sure there’s something for everyone. We will definitely be back.
