This is my new favorite seafood restaurant in Seal Beach! Romain and I celebrated 3 years together at this neighborhood gem and I cannot wait to go back. I ordered the Oak Grilled White Seabass with Butternut Squash Puree, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Fingerling Potatoes, Pancetta, and a Red Wine Reduction. I literally savored every bite. Romain had the caramelized Wild King Salmon with Lemongrass Beurre Blanc, Orange Shoyu Glaze, Yukon Gold Mashers and broccoli. It was cooked perfectly and so flavorful! All fish entrees also come with a choice of salad or soup. I upgraded for $2 to Walt’s Special Salad with Mixed Greens, Candied Walnuts, Golden Raisins, Gorgonzola Cheese, Red Onion and Mustard Vinaigrette. It went perfectly with the warm and crispy sourdough bread.

The portions were very generous and I actually went home with leftovers and no room for dessert. What I also love about California is that you can bring your own bottle of wine for a $10 corkage fee. This is awesome if you’re somewhat on a budget or have a favorite wine that’s not offered. Otherwise, they have an extensive wine list to choose from. The service was fabulous and the atmosphere casual, but definitely a place for a special occasion. Will definitely be back!
